Damascus, SANA – The price of gold has risen about 5,000 SYP in the local markets compared to Friday’s price of 1,030,000 Syrian pounds per gram of 21-karat gold.
The Goldsmiths Syndicate, in its bulletin issued Saturday, set the selling price of a gram of 21-karat gold at 1,035,000 Syrian pounds and the buying price at 1,015,000 Syrian pounds.
The selling price of a gram of 18-karat gold reached 890,000 Syrian pounds and the buying price at 870,000 Syrian pounds.
