ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A driver is under arrest after Rochester Police say she crashed a stolen car into a vacant house on Dewey Avenue and Glenwood Avenue on Monday morning.
Officers tried to pull over the car around 11:20 a.m. around North Plymouth Avenue and Bloss Street, saying the Nissan was stolen from Orleans County. Officers say they lost sight of it.
Soon after, officers learned about the crash. RPD determined that the driver was traveling on Glenwood Avenue and hit another car at the intersection of Dewey Avenue. Police say the impact forced the stolen car into the house.
The driver, 34, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say charges are pending and she will be served with outstanding warrants.
