16 years after its original publication, the audiobook version of unSweetined is being released on August 19, 2025. Sweetin, who famously played Stephanie Tanner in Full House and its 2016 Netflix reboot Fuller House, narrated the audiobook, which features new content. In an exclusive clip, filmed while Sweetin recorded her audiobook, she shared details of a night of partying.
She then said the situation "was a typical night of partying."
In a behind-the-scenes interview, Sweetin shared how it felt to revisit her 2009 memoir.
The actress then quipped that "it has been a little hard to go back and hear some of these stories that [she has] pleasantly forgotten about."
"What I hope listeners take away from this audiobook is that even at our darkest loneliest moments, we can come back from that. We can talk about it," said Sweetin. "We can share our stories, sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're very much not. But sharing our stories like this is really the important thing. And that's what I hope the people get out of this book, is that we all are connected by how much we share and experience with each other."
She also said while "it was really scary writing some of these things down," she is now "really glad that [she] did."
