Breed: Great Pyrenees-“sheepadoodle” (poodle-old English sheepdog) mix
Age: 8 months
Sex: Male (will be neutered upon adoption)
Spot’s story: Spot is a lover, charmer and all-around playful boy. He’s affectionate and attentive and loves his people. He would make a great family dog – he loves playing with toys and kids. Like all Great Pyrenees, pure or mixed breed, Spot will require secure fencing and a yard. He would not do well in a condo or apartment. He is not trained to be a livestock guardian as many purebred Great Pyrenees are. Spot is negative for heartworm, parasites and tick-borne diseases.
Adoption cost: $500
Adoption procedure: Contact Great Pyrenees Association of Southern California Rescue Inc. at 909-887-8201 or gpascrescue@aol.com. Fill out an application on the group’s website.
