Several popular new retailers and restaurants will soon open up at Westfield Old Orchard Mall in Skokie as the suburban mall to continues to undergo a major transformation.
One of the newest stores, California-based brand Beyond Yoga, will open at the mall Wednesday, according to a release. A map of the mall shows the store is located next to Macy’s on the east side.
Abercrombie & Fitch will also open a new storefront at mall in the coming months near Macy’s, the release said. The classic retailer originally opened at the mall in the mid-90s.
Popular fast-casual grain bowl and salad spot Sweetgreen is also opening at the mall, the release said, along with specialty coffee roaster Blue Bottle Coffee. Blue Bottle will open near Bloomie’s the mall map showed.
Cosmetic dermatology practice The Derm Institute is also set to open at the mall, the release said.
An opening timeline for Abercrombie & Fitch, Sweetgreen, Blue Bottle and The Derm Institute was not provided.
The stores join other recent openings at the mall, including mini-golf and dining experience Puttshack inside the mall’s former Lord & Taylor building. The mall also plans to redevelop and demolish the former Bloomingdale’s building to make way for other stores, restaurants and apartments.

According to the release, the Old Orchard will also host its popular “Sip & Shop” event Sept. 25, with more than 35 restaurants and stores participating in deals, live food demos, live music and more.
