TRAVIS Kelce has opened up about his family’s agony for the first time, and he has gotten help from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end broke his silence on the personal matter just weeks ahead of the 2025 season.

During their NFL careers, the Kelce brothers have admitted that they wished their parents had stayed together longer to work things out.
Travis recently took part in an emotional interview with GQ, and recalled noticing the hint that his parents were slowly drifting apart before what he believes was their 20th wedding anniversary.
The 35-year-old then shared that he wants to avoid that same situation with Swift.
“I don’t want to get this wrong, it had to be around 20 (20th wedding anniversary),” Kellce said as he then explained that his parents’ anniversary date had been written on a calendar in their family home.
“I remember seeing it, and I was like, ‘Oh, it’s their anniversary.
“I wonder what they’re going to do.’
“And it was kind of just another day almost.
“… I’m sure my father probably did something, he’s always been very good at making sure we celebrate our mother when it’s Mother’s Day and all that.
“… But I never saw the romance of it all.”
The 10-time Pro Bowler has now been in a relationship with Swift for close to two years, and he said that he wants to make sure that a drift doesn’t happen between the two of them.
“A lot of friends I grew up with shared that (having two happy parents). The handful of my friends whose parents are still together and still thriving – those are situations I would love to have,” Kelce said.
“Not that I think my parents dealt with it the wrong way or anything like that.
‘It’s more so, if we’re gonna start this and do it, why not try and do it to last forever? Not just in a ‘It’s just for the kids’ aspect.”

“Their kindness, their genuineness, their ability to say hello to everyone in the room,” he said.
“Their ability to show love and support no matter what. And on top of that, their work ethic.
“I’ve seen Taylor do the exact same thing of setting goals for herself and exceeding the expectations and really captivating the world in that regard.”
