There are two different summer bank holiday weekends across the UK in August, which means there will be some alterations to payment dates for benefits this month.
Payments due on Monday 25 August for claimants in England and Wales will be paid on the Friday before the bank holiday weekend, Friday 23 August.
In Scotland, the summer bank holiday falls over the first weekend of August.
Payments due on Monday 4 August for claimants in Scotland will be made on the preceding Friday 1 August.

When will pensions be paid in August?
