Dubois came flying out of the gates looking to impose his presence early.

The Brit attempted to find a home for his right hand in the opening stanza, but he fell just short as the ever-elusive Usyk darted in and out of range.

In the second round, Dubois continued trudging forward, but he was caught by a couple of crisp left straights before the bell that snapped back his head.

Undeterred, Dubois continued to apply the pressure, only to be buckled by another left in the third frame.

In the fifth, a flurry of shots from the pound-for-pound king sent Dubois tumbling to the canvas before a looping left sent him back down moments later, to this time, be counted out.

Speaking in the immediate aftermath, Usyk, who now boasts a perfect 24-0 record, bellowed: “I think I want to say thank you to Jesus Christ.

“I want to say thank you to my team and you, Wembley. Thank you so much!

“Victory for today? It’s for the people. It’s for our world people.”

Asked what is next for him, Usyk named former foes Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, as well as IBF mandatory Derek Chisora and WBO interim champion Joseph Parker, as potential dance partners for what is expected to be his last dance.

But first, the 38-year-old is keen to rest up.

He said: “Nothing is next. It’s enough, next, I don’t know. I want to rest.

“My family, my wife, my children, I want to rest now. Two or three months, I want to just rest.

“[Then] maybe it’s Tyson Fury. Maybe we have three choices, Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua. Maybe Joseph Parker.

“Listen, I cannot now say because I want to go back home.”

The mic was then passed to a disheartened Dubois, who said: “I have to commend him on the performance, I gave everything I had.

“Take no credit away from that man, I’ll be back.

“I was just fighting, trying to pick up round by round. It is what it is.”

Usyk is now a two-time undisputed heavyweight championGETTY GettyHe has sealed his place as one of the greatest heavyweights in history[/caption]

Usyk is now the first three-time undisputed champion of the four-belt era after previously unifying the cruiserweight division in 2018 and picking up all the belts at heavyweight last May against Fury.

He was forced to relinquish the IBF strap one month after his historic victory in order to pursue a rematch with Fury.

As a result, Dubois was elevated to full IBF champion, leading to a rematch for all four major sanctioning body belts.

Usyk knocked out Dubois in the ninth round the first time they met in August 2023.

But the fight was marred by controversy after Dubois decked Usyk with a punch in the fifth stanza that divided the boxing world.

Some members of the boxing fraternity claimed it was a legal body shot, while others felt it had strayed below the beltline.

Ultimately, the only opinion that mattered was the third man in the ring, Luis Pabon, who gave Usyk time to recover before he rebounded to close the show inside the distance.

On Saturday night, he managed to end proceedings four rounds earlier to end all talk of an asterisk on his record.

Frank Warren, Daniel Dubois’ promoter, has labelled Usyk a legend after his incredible win.

Warren said in the ring: “Oleksandr Usyk’s a modern-day legend.

“In any generation, he’d be a great fighter. No complaints, no excuses, the better man won on the night.”

When asked about he next fight for Usyk, he said: “The WBO have already ordered against Joe Parker. It’s Joe Parker’s time.”
