Residents interested in running for the Weld RE-4 School District Board of Education can attend a candidacy information session later this month.
The information session, followed by a question-and-answer session, will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at the Windsor Community Recreation Center, 250 11th St., according to a Weld RE-4 news release. The presentation will cover topics, including the election process and the role of a board member.
To submit a question for the event, go to bit.ly/3GlaZCy. Accepted questions must be submitted by noon on July 23.
The five-person board will have two vacancies on the November 2025 ballot: District A, currently held by Treasurer Raymond Ruth since 2023, and District C, held by President Lance Nichols since 2021.
