Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 299 new cases of coronavirus (Coivd-19) and 143 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 145,124. Out of the 200 new cases, 264 are community cases and 35 from travellers returning from abroad. Till now 248 people succumbed to the virus in Qatar, which is one of the lowest in the world. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Qatar is 149,595 and there are 4,223 active cases under treatment. 5,124 people were tested for the first time in the last 24 hours (10,143 tests in total) taking the total tests done so far to 1,362,781 tests.
