The 55-year-old actress captioned a selfie on Instagram, “Happy 4th of July America,” along with a flag emoji as well as three hearts in red, white, and blue.

At least one fan paid homage to one of her most well-known roles with, “Happy 4th, Buffy.” Swanson of course played the title role in the iconic ‘90s film Buffy the Vampire Slayer, when she just wanted to “graduate from high school, go to Europe, marry Christian Slater, and die.”
