Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of iterations of Crofton’s most reliable cookware staples—one standout being the classic ceramic nonstick pan. And while some cooking purists might argue that every dish deserves its own dedicated piece of cookware, we’re suckers for a clever kitchen gimmick. Part of the fun is figuring out whether it actually works.

Crofton Ceramic Divided Pan, BlueRetailing for just $14.99 and hitting shelves on July 9, this intriguing kitchen find still holds some mystery. From the looks of it, the pan lets you grill a chicken breast or salmon on one side while sautéing veggies on the other. Aldi hasn’t shared details on size or technology yet, but based on past Crofton ceramic nonstick pans of the past, we can make some educated guesses.
The divided surface pairs smooth ceramic nonstick on one side with a ridged grill pattern on the other. It’s likely coated with Fusion Ti ceramic nonstick, just like the rest of Crofton’s fry pan line — meaning easy cleanup and plenty of stress-free meals. Made from durable aluminum and free of PTFE, PFOA, lead and cadmium, these pans are generally reliable but come with a few caveats.
Otherwise, this pan is built tough and ready to take a beating. We’re also super excited to see a combination-style join the lineup after months of seemingly the same-old nonstick fry pan. Upon arrival, fans can expect to find it available in Green, Blue and Warm Grey, though we’ve got our eyes on that beautiful baby blue. Keep an eye out next Wednesday; if our hunch is right, this one’s going to sell fast.
