DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash at around 7 a.m. Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 25, just north of the West Alameda Avenue exit.
DPD said the driver of what has been described as a black Toyota 4Runner was driving in the right hand lane of southbound I-25 when they struck a pedestrian who was changing a flat tire on the right shoulder.

(Credit DPD)The victim suffered a fatal injury while the suspect vehicle suffered severe damage on its front passenger side, according to DPD.
