2004's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was a big vibe shift for the HP movie franchise. Not only were our three heroes growing up, but there was a darker feel to it. One of the newest LEGO Harry Potter builds to come out is the 'Harry Potter' Chomping Monster Book of Monsters set. It costs $59.99 and has 518 pieces. Plus, it really does look like the scary book from the third flick. It measures over 6.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep, so it’s not as large as the one in the Harry Potter film, but it’s large enough. 'Harry Potter' Chomping Monster Book of Monsters, $59.99 at LEGO
(LEGO)The book, in the wizarding world, is meant to be a book with a monster charm on it so that it acts similarly to monsters you’ll learn about when reading it. It looks like a normal albeit furry book, but once you open it without rubbing its spine, it’ll try to bite your face off. When that happens, it has pinchers and teeth that appear and it scoots across the floor. This LEGO version is in biting mode, so its teeth and fangs are on full display. And like we mentioned before, this book scoots around, similarly to the movie’s book. It has a pull-back function, meaning that once you’re done building it—if you have it on a flat surface—you can wind it back, let it go and it launches forward on wheels.
