30 killed in Pakistani military operation ...Iraq

Pakistan's military reported on Friday that30 militants were killed during a three-day operation in North Waziristan aimedat preventing infiltration from Afghanistan.

Authorities identified the assailants asmembers of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and affiliated groups, and accusedIndia’s intelligence agency, RAW, of backing them.

Tensions between Islamabad and New Delhispiked in May, when deadly border clashes claimed 70 lives in the worstescalation in decades.
