The Women’s European Championship kicks off on Wednesday, with Group A getting the competition under way with plenty of Scandinavian teams in action.
Iceland take on Finland in the opener before tournament hosts Switzerland face off against Norway in the later game. Elsewhere, the CONCACAF Gold Cup semi-finals take place in the early hours of Thursday morning, with Mexico and the United States heavy favourites to renew their rivalry in the final.

Norway Women to beat Switzerland Women – 20/21
Norway have by far the most prestigious history of any team in Group A of the Women’s European Championship, having won both this competition and the World Cup in the past.
They may not quite be the team who managed that domination of women’s football in the mid-1990’s but they remain a very solid outfit and should be able to get the better of hosts Switzerland.
They bossed the play-offs to reach this tournament, beating Albania and Northern Ireland 21-0 on aggregate across four games to qualify.
They had a tough time of things in their recent Nations League campaign but one side they consistently got the better of was Switzerland, winning 2-1 at home and 1-0 away.
The tournament hosts took just two points from a possible 18 in that Nations League group and have lost 6-0 to Germany and 4-0 to France in the last 12 months.
Norway should be too strong and are fancied to kick off the group with a win.

United States to win and both teams to score – 9/4
The United States survived a scare against Costa Rica in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, coming from a goal down to draw 2-2 before beating Los Ticos on penalties.
They have not looked comfortable defensively in recent months, losing 4-0 to Switzerland and conceding three combined in their last two games in this tournament against Costa Rica and Haiti.
That will give plenty of hope to Guatemala, who have upset the odds to reach this point for the first time since 1996.
They were the beneficiaries of a red card for Canada to beat them on penalties after a 1-1 draw in normal time and are fancied to get on the scoresheet agai.
However their luck may ultimately run out and the United States should progress to the final.
Long shot of the day
Finland Women to win to nil vs Iceland Women – 13/2
Iceland are technically the highest-ranked side in Group A of the Women’s European Championship although they had an extremely disappointing Nations League campaign, taking just four points from a possible 18.
A 3-1 friendly win over Serbia last time out was their first victory in 11 games and they could be shocked by a solid Finland outfit.
The Helmarit beat Scotland 2-0 to qualify and kept four clean sheets in six Nations League games, and they could grind out a win to nil.
