Many fanbases claim to have the most hostile atmosphere in the NFL — only one was crowned champion by the players themselves.
Officially the loudest outdoor stadium in the world, the Kansas City Chiefs have a huge advantage in front of their own supporters.

ESPN asked 111 football stars to name the toughest places to play, and the poll saw Arrowhead come out on top in January.
“I just think the aura, and the fans are nuts,” Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day told the publication. “They’re so loud, you can’t even hear yourself think at times.
In 2019, then-Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant thought that Chiefs’ fans would see their spirits dampened in a snowy showdown — he was wrong.
“You figured it’s a blizzard, won’t be as many fans there,” said Seattle Seahawks star Fant. “And it was still super loud, and they were going crazy.”
Arrowhead may be intimidating, but it is also in urgent need of renovation and the Chiefs’ lease is up in 2031.
Lawmakers in Missouri have approved a proposal that would see the state contribute around half of a $1.1 billion upgrade in order to keep the three-time Super Bowl champion franchise in its current home.
But Kansas has launched a bid to persuade the team to relocate — a gleaming domed arena worth around $3 billion that, crucially, would potentially see NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell bring the Super Bowl to KC.
ESPN’s poll awarded two points for a first-place vote, one for second and half a point for third.
Arrowhead scored 57, with Seattle’s Lumen Field — home of the infamous ‘Beast Quake’ — taking second on 41.5.

Seahawks fans have twice held the Guinness World Record for loudest outdoor roar — hitting 136.6 decibels in 2013 and 137.6 a year later.
After losing their crown to the Chiefs, they will be hoping to see the end of Arrowhead, which could allow Seattle to reclaim top spot.
Arrowhead’s unique design helps amplify the noise and that could be lost in a new home.
The mastermind behind Kansas City’s recent dominance want to stay put.
Speaking ahead of Patrick Mahomes‘ home debut, head coach Andy Reid paid tribute to Chiefs fans.
“We love playing in Arrowhead. You know how that goes. Our players get fired up,” he said. “When you come out of that tunnel and its red and its loud, it’s a beautiful thing.

MLB‘s Kansas City Royals could also be on the move as their stadium is next door to the Chiefs.
Blair Kerkhoff — a Kansas City Star sports writer — thinks Missouri is set to lose its football team.
“What I think is, how it’s gonna play out — through all the twists and turns — I think the Chiefs are going to end up over on the Kansas side of the state line,” he exclusively told talkSPORT.
“I think the Royals will find a way to work something out with Jackson County in the city of Kansas City to be in downtown Kansas City.
“Baseball would stay in Missouri. The football (NFL) moves to Kansas.”
A June 30 decision deadline has passed but Chiefs president Mark Donovan requested the extension in a letter to Kansas Senate president Ty Masterson.
Per The Associated Press, he claimed that ‘significant progress’ has been made on plans for the stadium but needed more time to ‘bring the effort to full fruition.’
“Together,” he added. “We have the opportunity to bring the National Football League to Kansas, anchored by a world-class domed stadium, new team headquarters, a state-of-the-art practice facility, and a vibrant mixed-use and entertainment district.”
The Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council is scheduled to meet on July 7, where an extension will be discussed.
Shovels could hit dirt as soon as this year. The battle to bully opposition players into submission from the stands will rage on regardless.
