Arnold Schwarzenegger has nothing but love for his son Patrick Schwarzenegger’s ex Miley Cyrus.
The White Lotus actor, 31, and Cyrus, 32, briefly dated between 2014 and 2015 before Patrick met his longtime love — and current fiancée — Abby Champion.
But it seems Arnold, 77, still has fond memories of the former Hannah Montana star, as he shared on the Monday, June 23, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
Asked what was the best thing about Patrick and Cyrus dating, Arnold responded: “The best was that she’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being. Very, very talented. She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there and she was just such a wonderful houseguest and everything like that.”

“We just all loved her,” the Terminator star added.
As for the downsides of his son dating the pop superstar? None, apparently.
“She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with,” Arnold told host Andy Cohen.
Arnold added, “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with and he’s getting married to in September.”
At the time of their romance, Cyrus was in her Bangerz era. Patrick, then 21, was studying business and theater at the University of Southern California.

Cyrus’ relationship with Patrick came amid a brief pause in her decade-long romance with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus and Hemsworth began dating after meeting on the set of the 2010 movie The Last Song and announced their engagement in June 2012. They separated in September 2013.
The former lovebirds reunited in 2016 and wed in December 2018. However, Cyrus and Hemsworth again separated less than a year later. They finalized their divorce in January 2020.

During a March appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Patrick said that he and Champion postponed their nuptials after he landed his breakout role as Saxon Ratliff on The White Lotus.
“Finally, a year and a half ago, we got engaged. And it was our moment, it was this great thing,” he said. “And a few days later, I booked White Lotus, and I was like, ‘Abby, I know we’re in this high of engagement, and we’re gonna get married this year. But we’re going to have to push it. I got White Lotus, and I’m going to film for the next seven months in Thailand.’”
“She was so happy. She was ecstatic because she was a huge fan,” he added.
