A wildfire closed Interstate 70 in both directions near Eagle, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Drivers are being detoured onto U.S. 6, which runs parallel to the interstate.
There is no estimated time of reopening and drivers should seek alternate routes and expect delays, state officials said.
