Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X marks a significant milestone in automotive engineering, representing General Motors' commitment to performance and innovation. This high-performance hybrid "hypercar" achieves an astonishing acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds, establishing it as the quickest Corvette ever produced. Equipped with a formidable twin-turbo V8 engine, this model not only exemplifies speed but also incorporates advanced technology through its electric axle, enhancing both power and efficiency.

Chevrolet is introducing an all-wheel drive Corvette worthy of the storied ZR1 designation: the 2026 Corvette ZR1X. With 1,250 horsepower1 and electrified all-wheel drive, ZR1X is a true American hypercar and the most advanced Corvette ever. With ZR1 and ZR1X, Chevrolet now has the most powerful American performance car duo of any auto manufacturer.

LT7 V-8 from the ZR1 with an improved version of the Corvette E-Ray’s electric motor. The result? A hybrid all-wheel-drive Corvette making an absurd 1250 horsepower.

GM previously said an all-electric Corvette would be coming, but it’s unclear if the status of those plans has changed amid slower-than-expected adoption of EVs. A Corvette SUV also has been under consideration for several years.

GM said pricing for the Corvette ZR1X will be announced closer to when the vehicle arrives in dealerships later this year.

It will be available as a convertible or coupe. The coupe includes a rear split window as an homage to the well-known 1963 Corvette.

With a staggering output of 1,250 horsepower and a top speed of 233 mph, the ZR1X showcases GM's dedication to pushing the boundaries of automotive capabilities . The vehicle features novel drive settings such as PTM Pro and a push-to-pass mode that further optimize performance. As pricing details are yet to be announced, the anticipation surrounding its release—available in both convertible and coupe forms—highlights consumer interest in cutting-edge automotive advancements .
