Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are officially married after finding love on The Bachelor.
The couple obtained their marriage license on May 2 in Travis County, Texas, Us Weekly can confirm. The pair tied the knot a few weeks later on May 23, according to court records viewed by Us.
Bachelor Nation first met Shallcross, 28, when he appeared on Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season 19 of The Bachelorette in 2022. Although Shallcross set his sights on Recchia, the two called it quits after their fantasy suite date. Shallcross was subsequently announced as the lead for season 27 of The Bachelor in September 2022.
During Shallcross’ Bachelor stint, which aired from January to March 2023, he hit it off with Biggar, 30, and the two got engaged during the finale.

“I can no longer say I’m falling in love with you because, Kaity Lane, I am so in love with you. You are my world,” he said during his proposal. “The love I feel for you is something I could’ve never imagined and something I thought a lot of my life I would never be able to deserve. I love you so much. I love you with all my heart. You’re the face I want to wake up to every morning. I want to go through life with you and only you. Kaity, I want to be with you forever. … You’re the only one I want in my life.”
Biggar revealed via Instagram in July 2023 that the pair had moved in together in Austin, Texas, and in January 2024, they debuted their new home on social media.
Three months later, Biggar announced via Instagram that she and Shallcross planned to tie the knot in Texas in October 2025.
While celebrating their second anniversary in November 2024, Shallcross proposed to Biggar a second time. “How lucky am I to get to say ‘yes’ to you twice! ,” she captioned photos of the pair on a boat in Lisbon as she showed off her new engagement ring.

As the date of the nuptials approached, Shallcross opened up during a January appearance on the “Almost Famous” podcast about his and Biggar’s decision to back out of their wedding contract.
“We had been planning or talking about wanting to plan our wedding, figure out a date, figure out a venue, what do we like, what we don’t like,” he explained at the time.
After meeting with a friend who is a wedding planner, the details came together faster than the duo expected.
“Credit to our wedding planner, she took it and started to run with it and started just booking us at all these places,” Shallcross continued. “And we’re like, ‘Oh, wow, this is happening really quick.’”

When the wedding planner informed the couple that they would have to “go a lot over” their budget to get their ideal venue, Shallcross and Biggar decided buying a house was more important to them.
“We pondered on it for a week and we’re like, ‘[It] does not feel good to just go so into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are,’ which is buying a house and not a down payment for one day,” he noted. “So we backed out of the contract. Not saying we’re done with wedding planning. We’ve actually gone further in other areas, but we just couldn’t do that. I don’t know, like it’s so crazy nowadays.”
Despite the setback, Shallcross divulged that he and Biggar hoped to marry sooner rather than later.
“We’re planning to get eloped very soon, like very soon, and then we’ll figure out, like, celebration and all that, like the glitz and the glamour,” he said. “It’s not a matter of when, it’s, like, the other stuff and, like, wanting to have all the family from all over come for it.”
