Remember when Christmas meant circling everything you wanted in the Toys “R” Us catalog, watching your favorite holiday movies on VHS and hoping Santa would deliver that Tamagotchi you’d been begging for all year? Well, dust off your butterfly clips and dig out your favorite scrunchie, because one New York City hotel is taking guests straight back to 1999 this holiday season.
And who better to help bring the nostalgia than Full House star Jodie Sweetin?
Club Wyndham has teamed up with the beloved ’90s sitcom actress to unveil its new Holiday Rewind Suite at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in Manhattan, an immersive holiday experience that recreates the sights, sounds and snacks of Christmas past. Think wood-paneled walls, vintage toys, old-school decorations and enough throwback treats to make your inner child very, very happy.
And apparently, we’re not the only ones feeling nostalgic. According to new research from Club Wyndham, 81% of parents wish they could relive their childhood holidays. Now, they can bring their own kids along for the ride.

What’s Inside Club Wyndham’s Holiday Rewind Suite?
Forget sleek, minimalist hotel rooms. This suite is all about the kind of gloriously nostalgic holiday decor that would have made your childhood self feel right at home.
There’s a living area filled with vintage toys, wood-paneled walls and VHS holiday movies, plus an actual landline hotline to Santa. Yes, really.

The teen bedroom is another trip down memory lane, complete with a lava lamp, glow-in-the-dark stars, CDs and virtual pets. In other words, it’s everything you wanted your bedroom to look like in 1999, right down to the accessories.
And then there’s the kitchen.
Remember when Dunkaroos were the ultimate lunchbox flex? Guests can snack on those, along with Gushers and Sunny D, while whipping up their own holiday treats at dedicated hot cocoa, crispy rice treat and fresh popcorn stations.

Even the keepsakes are getting the retro treatment. Instead of relying solely on smartphones to document their stay, guests receive disposable cameras and other nostalgic goodies to take home. Just don’t expect to see how your photos turned out until they’re developed. Ah, the good old days.
How Much Does the Holiday Rewind Suite Cost?
The Holiday Rewind Suite will be available at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York City from November 6, 2026, through January 4, 2027, with rates starting at $449 per night.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, the property also makes a convenient home base for checking out the city’s holiday attractions, from Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree to the festive window displays along Fifth Avenue.
And if a $449 hotel stay isn’t exactly on your Christmas wish list, there’s another way to experience the throwback fun.
Club Wyndham is giving one lucky winner the chance to score a complimentary stay in the suite, plus airfare, through its Holiday Rewind Suite-Stakes. Be sure to check the official sweepstakes page for entry details and eligibility requirements.
So whether you’re a ’90s kid hoping to revisit the Christmases of your childhood or a parent ready to introduce your own little ones to the wonders of VHS tapes and Tamagotchis, this might just be the most nostalgic hotel stay of the season.
Now, if only someone could bring back Friday nights watching TGIF.
