On Monday, June 9, GMA kicked off its last week in Times Square after 26 years of calling the iconic space its home.
In honor of closing this chapter in GMA's history, its stars reflected on their first days at the studio. The show will move to downtown New York City in Hudson Square.
Elsewhere in his reflection on GMA, Stephanopoulos recalled, "One of my first interviews was with David Axelrod, who was working in the White House at the time with President [Barack] Obama. They sent me a big alarm clock for my first day."
