ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Central School District Department of Special Education and the Special Education Parent Advisory Council are hosting the fourth annual Special Education Resource Fair.
The fair takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Dr. Iris J. Banister School No. 33. Community partners at the fair are offering resources and programs that support students with disabilities from pre-K to post-secondary.
“It’s really about just bringing our community together to help parents know how to access the many supports and services in the Rochester community,” said Kristin Swann, chief of special education and related services.
She said the district has about 4,500 students who have exceptionalities, and over 80 vendors went to the event.
