ANTIOCH – A 30-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a recent shooting in Antioch that left a woman hospitalized in critical condition, according to authorities.

William Whitaker said in a news release.
The shooting happened around 8:50 p.m. on May 20 in the 3900 block of Delta Fair Boulevard. Officers arrived to find a 31-year-old woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim remains in critical condition at an area hospital, according to Whitaker.
“This is still an active investigation and no further information will be released at this time,” Whitaker said.
