NAOMI Osaka was reduced to tears after her first-round loss in the French Open.
Osaka, 27, was beaten by Spain’s No. 10 seed Paula Badosa in Paris.

The four-time slam winner left her press conference as she began crying.

“I hate disappointing people,” she said.
“Even with Patrick, I was thinking just now, he goes from working with like the greatest player ever to like, ‘What the f**k is this?’
“Sorry for cursing. I hope I don’t get fined.”
Osaka skipped a press conference at the French Open in 2021.
She was fined $15,000 and threatened with being kicked out of the tournament.
Osaka later withdrew altogether for her mental health and well-being.
The Japan-born star also skipped Wimbledon just weeks later.
The 27-year-old has bravely spoken about her mental health battle since winning the 2018 US Open.
That was the first of her four slam titles as she also won the tournament in 2020.
Osaka’s two Australian Open victories came in 2019 and 2021.
She also took time out to give birth to her first child in 2023.
Osaka shared a message with her fans on Instagram a day after the loss to Badosa.
“I tried my best but this one really hurts,” she wrote.
“Comforted by the fact that l’ll get referred to as 4x GS winner and never 2025 RG 1st rounder haha.”
Osaka was beaten 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 by Badosa on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
She hit a massive 54 unforced errors, double that of her Spanish No. 10 seed opponent.
Her best result in the French Open was making the third round in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
