HARRISBURG, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Firefighters battled a large fire near the Cabarrus-Mecklenburg County line on Monday morning.
Shortly before 11 a.m., heavy smoke was seen about five miles past the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Farmington Ridge Parkway in Harrisburg.
A Queen City News crew at the scene said it was condos under construction that caught on fire.
We reached out to the Harrisburg Fire Department to learn what started the fire and if anyone was injured. They have not yet responded.
