A BELOVED Canadian coffeehouse chain is coming to another US state soon and will compete with popular brands.
Some customers have claimed that Dunkin’ will start losing business in favor of the chain’s food and drinks.

Tim Hortons Coffee & Bakery was founded in 1964 in Ontario and expanded over the decades to have over 5,700 locations in 13 countries.
The United States currently has over 650 Tim Hortons, most of which are located in New York and Michigan.
Its first US-based restaurant was established in 1984 in Tonawanda, New York, about 12 miles north of downtown Buffalo.
This year, Tim Hortons is making its way over to Maryland.
“We’re excited to bring Tim Hortons to the communities of Howard and Carroll Counties,” said Kyle Corman, senior real estate manager at Tim Hortons, while speaking with the news outlet.
“Our Maryland expansion reflects a commitment to growing in markets where guests are looking for great coffee, convenient drive-thrus, and warm, welcoming spaces.”
No timeline has been confirmed for when the 10 Tim Hortons will break ground in Maryland.
According to Hyatt Commercial Brokerage, which is representing Tim Hortons as it searches for the best sites for the restaurants, the new locations will follow its typical 1,600 square-foot layout.
That layout includes an indoor dining space.
MIXED RESPONSE
Customers are eager to get iconic selections from Tim Hortons like Double-Double coffee, donuts, Timbits, and more.
Some went as far as to argue that the Canadian chain is “better than Dunkin'” and even Starbucks.
“Better than Starbucks,” a longtime fan commented in a post on Facebook about the 10 new locations.
“Better than Starbucks by a long shot,” another echoed.

“The way I am literally so excited about this,” a third exclaimed.
Still, some felt that Tim Hortons didn’t live up to the hype that some customers had for it.
“Canadian born here, but wow, it’s really not that good,” they argued.
“Sorry to my friends in Maryland for this. Tim’s has not been very good for at least 30 years,” another customer said.
MENU MADNESS
Dunkin’ also dropped several new menu items this month as part of its Spring and Easter offerings.
Those included a Cotton Candy Specialty Donut, a Secret Dunkin’ Energy Drink, and the Spring Munchkins Bucket with Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins donuts.
It was recently confirmed that the flavor of the energy drink was Arctic Cherry.
All of the selections are only here for a limited time, so interested customers must act fast before the flavors are gone for good.
Starbucks unveiled its summer menu as well, with several discontinued drinks set to return.
