(KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol's San Jose Division said officers responded Saturday morning to a car on fire on Highway 101. Investigators said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.

The driver, an unidentified man, was taken to a nearby hospital for injuries. The status of his condition was not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
