The ball was travelling quickly to the boundary rope but Shaheen Afridi tried to chase it down. He got down in an attempt to stop the ball from going into the boundary ropes. However, Afridi's misfield allowed the ball to go under his body and into the boundary.

Shaheen Afridi was clearly embarrassed by the way he was unable to stop a the four. It wasn't a difficult stop by any means by the left-arm quick just couldn't do it cleanly. The misfield resulted in four important runs for South Africa.
A couple of big partnerships followed for South Africa before Shaheen Afridi struck again for his second wicket of the day. He dismissed the allrounder Wiaan Mulder for just 2 runs to land a huge blow on the Proteas.
South Africa blast a huge score on the board
It was a do-or-die game for both the teams as Pakistan and South Africa faced each other for a spot in the tri-series final. Both came into this match after losing their first match to New Zealand, who are already in the final.
Wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen provided the late impetus with a blistering knock of 87 off just 56 balls. Klaasen smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes during his knock. Kyle Verryenne also played well for a quickfire 44 off 32 balls. Shaheen Afridi was the top-wicket taker for Pakistan with 2-66.
Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha's brilliant stand
However, it was all about Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha afterwards. The pair of the captain and the vice-captain formed an ubelievable partnership of 260 runs for the fourth wicket to put their team in command.
Salman was dismissed for 134 off just 103 balls but the skipper Rizwan stayed till the end and remained unbeaten on 122 off 128 balls to take their team home. Pakistan will now face New Zealand in the tri-series final to be played on February 14.
