Rohit Sharma had finally found his best once again. After months of failure across formats, in international and domestic cricket, the Indian captain looked like a million bucks. But luck wasn’t on his side. Batting at 29 (18), having hit three sixes and one four already, Rohit Sharma had to unfortunately leave the field.
No batti at Barabati Stadium
The India vs. England 2nd ODI, taking place at the Barabati Stadium, was stopped due to a floodlight malfunction. The first delay happened after the sixth over of the second innings. One of the floodlights went off but came back on. One ball was bowled, and then it went off once again.
This time the delay was much longer. After waiting a little while, the umpires told Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and all of the England players to leave the ground.
