Celebrations have erupted in the occupied West Bank as dozens of Palestinian detainees were released from jail on Monday after a ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel came into effect.
The first part of the truce has seen 90 Palestinian and three Israeli captives freed, with a pause in the war on Gaza allowing for 600 aid trucks to be allowed into the besieged enclave.
It is hoped this will see an end to the 15-month war and siege on Gaza, where over 46,913 Palestinians have been killed and almost the entire of the enclave destroyed in Israeli bombing.
