SWAT responding to 'barricaded subject' in north Austin ...Middle East

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Police are on a scene in north Austin where a person is barricaded in an apartment complex.

The Austin Police Department said shortly after 4 a.m. officers were on the scene of a "barricaded subject" at an apartment in the 10000 block of North Lamar Boulevard. That area is just north of Rundberg Lane.

Travis County Sheriff's Office SWAT responded to the scene to help.

APD set up a command post at the Wells Fargo near the apartment.
