A gas leak at a home undergoing construction prompting an evacuation of a neighboring residence in the Rancho Bernardo area Monday, but there were no reports of any injuries.
The leak was reported at 12:40 p.m. at a home in the 17800 block of Sintonte Drive, located west of Oaks North Golf Course and north of Rancho Bernardo Inn, according to the San Diego Fire Department.
“The leak is in a single-family residence with some construction going on,” SDFD media services manager Monica Munoz said. “One house on one side of the affected house has been evacuated.”
The cause of the leak was not immediately known.
