Colorado Springs police are investigating a police shooting in the northeast part of the city but released no other details about the incident Tuesday afternoon.

Department officials posted about the shooting in the 5600 block of Buckskin Pass Drive at 3:52 p.m. but did not say how many people were shot or provide any other information. A spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
