Nima Momeni, a 40-year-old Emeryville tech consultant, fatally stabbed Lee to death near the San Francisco Bay Bridge in the early hours of the morning of April 4, 2023, out of revenge for his sister, according to prosecutors. Three victims of Piedmont Cybertruck crash identified Momeni's defense maintain that the stabbing was an act of self-defense after Lee, who'd been on a days-long drug and party binge became enraged and pulled a knife after Momeni made a "bad joke."
