A Siler City man faces several gun charges after a shooting into a Pittsboro residence last week, according to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office. A release from the office on Thursday said deputies arrested 46-year-old Geoffrey Evans following an investigation into gunfire on Oct. 23 along Moore Mountain Road, which is just north of the Bynum community. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call reporting gunshots from a moving vehicle around 4:13 p.m., and found shell casings and a bullet hole upon arrival to a residence.
