CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton was in a car accident in south Charlotte Tuesday afternoon, a team spokesperson confirmed with Queen City News. The spokesperson said Dalton, 36, was driving westbound on Sardis Road approaching Providence Road when the accident occurred. His wife, three children and his dog also were in the car; however, no one from Dalton's family was reportedly transported by Medic personnel.
