DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police arrested a driver for street racing on Interstate 25 last weekend. On Sept. 29, Denver Police Department officers initiated an operation to locate and arrest anyone partaking in illegal street racing. At around 12:45 a.m., officers received information that a group of racers were planning on traveling north on I-25 towards Denver. Officers spotted the group going northbound on I-25 near the Lincoln/Broadway exit. Two motorists allegedly drove side by side before taking off in a street race. 2 killed in crash on US 34 in Greeley Officers then attempted to conduct a traffic stop.
