YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash while they were clearing a downed tree in York County, SC Highway Patrol announced. On Friday, September 27, around 9:10 a.m., units responded to the scene along Lawrence Road, just south of Clover. Troopers said four people were in the roadway, cutting up a tree when a 2013 Ram pickup truck struck the tree and the four pedestrians.
