COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A decades-old dive bar just south of Ohio State's campus is shutting its doors this weekend. The Bier Stube has been open at the corner of 9th and High Streets since 1966. Last month, the storied location announced it would be closing ahead of construction plans for a high-rise apartment building. In a Facebook post Thursday the owner, Craig Kempton, said he would "love to make another Bier Stube."
