DENVER (KDVR) — Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge is on secure status Friday morning. FOX31 received multiple tips about an incident and closure of the hospital at around 8:30 a.m. The Wheat Ridge Police Department said a witness reached out to officers about a person with a holstered weapon. Officers went to the hospital to search and speak with the person and, because of the police presence, the hospital was placed on secure status.
