Bhubaneswar: A pair of giraffes was brought to Odisha’s famous Nandankanan Zoological Park, Bhubaneswar from Zoological Garden, Alipore, Kolkata. It is part of the approved animal exchange programme. A 10-member team led by Dr Rasmi Ranjan Swain, ACF carried out the operation and finally brought the Giraffes today. The male giraffe is 1 year 5 months old and the female giraffe is 1 year 1 month old. With this, the number of giraffes has gone up to 3 at Nandankanan Zoo, as per reports.
