CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- 20 pounds of marijuana was seized from a package from California to a residence in Lenoir, according to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office. On Aug. 27, the I.C.E Unit found a package shipped from California on its way to a residence on Marked Trail Court. Authorties found 20 pounds of marijuana inside, which prompted a search of its intended destination. At the residence, Narcotic Agents found four firearms, two more pounds of marijuana, and about 33 pounds of psilocybin edibles. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
