DENVER (KDVR) — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 25 Tuesday morning ended with one car falling into the South Platte River. According to the Denver Police Department, the crash happened just before 6 a.m. on southbound I-25 north of Alameda Avenue. Police said two cars crashed and one landed in the Platte. Police said the car that fell into the river landed on its side, and the female driver was able to get out. She was sitting on top of the car when officers arrived on scene.
