Officers responded to calls regarding the incident Wednesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m. at 8204 Ikea Boulevard in northeast Charlotte. An initial investigation stated that approximately $277,000 in cash from bags inside a Brink's armored truck were stolen and that the victim was held at gunpoint and then had their handgun stolen from them.
