LANARK, Ill. (WIFR) – A grant of almost $1 million will go toward major repairs for Lanark’s water infrastructure, leaders announced Tuesday. The money is part of a $123 million Congressional investment for improvement projects in northwest Illinois. Leaders say the $959,752 grant award is the largest the city has ever received.
