Lake Pillsbury – The road coming from Potter Valley is still in very good shape. Take it easy and the trip will be just fine. Although I have not fished Pillsbury lately, I have received reports that the trout and bass fishing has continued to be good. The most successful trout anglers have been trolling the west side pulling a Ford Fender trailing it with a salmon egg and a kernel of sweet corn. Some of the bass have stated to move off of the flats into deeper water. Look for them to be holding at drop-offs. Clear Lake- With the wind, and then with one day of clouds, and then five days of the temperatures being in the 60’s & 70’s, the bass have been somewhat confused. At least that
