VERNON — Canton Central Catholic’s bats proved to be too much for Western Reserve on Monday, as the 13th-seeded Crusaders defeated the fifth-seeded Blue Devils 12-1 in the Division IV Badger district semifinal. After going down 1-2-3 in the top of the first inning, CCC’s bats finally came alive.
