A man wanted in connection with a murder in Oregon was arrested in southern Mendocino County early Thursday morning, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, a deputy saw a vehicle parked in the 31000 block of Highway 128 in Yorkville around 12:30 a.m. April 25 and stopped to contact its occupant. The man was identified by the MCSO as a resident of Eugene, Ore., named John Jay Kelley, 49, who reportedly had an active warrant for his arrest out of Lane County, Ore., where Eugene is the county seat.
